Why not just use ice packs?
Ice packs cool one spot temporarily. Our vest continuously circulates cold water across your back while you stay active — built for long shifts, outdoor work, and hands-free cooling.
How is this different from a regular fan cooling vest?
Fan vests only move air and depend on sweat evaporating, so they lose effectiveness in high heat and humidity. This vest circulates ice water against your back to cool you by direct contact regardless of humidity — with fans adding airflow on top.
How long does it stay cold?
The cold comes from the ice, not the battery. A set of reusable ice packs gives about 1 hour of strong cooling; a frozen 350ml bottle about 1.5 hours. Refreeze and swap in fresh ice packs for all-day cooling, and the fans keep airflow going the whole time.
Does the cooling effect disappear quickly in 100°F+ weather?
Not at all. In extremely hot environments, the vest naturally absorbs more heat, so the cooling sensation may gradually become less noticeable over time. However, that's because it's actively drawing heat away from your body. Rather than creating cold air like an air conditioner, the vest is designed to slow heat buildup, reduce heat stress, and help you stay comfortable longer during outdoor work, hiking, sports, and other activities in hot weather.
